Losing Relevancy

I says this,

and she says that,

and I says this.

But she is me

and those around me

are them.

I open my mouth

.a breath of a syllable.

and recall an earlier time,

as if it was a second ago.

But I am out of time,

and they do not

While I was mulling

my thoughts

over minutes and hours,

not stopping,

going deeper and deeper,

they moved onto other things.

The syllable pushes out

into words.

I have formed the perfect

and explanations-

but they have lost out

to relevancy.

I says this,

and their ears begin to listen

and she says that,

her/their ears are confused

and I says this.

Their ears are asking,

what am I talking about?
