Seeing Beauty, A Wish to Possess It

Before her

A great beauty

Standing in an iron cage

.

She wants freedom for it

Proposing and suggesting many methods

But underneath the pure search for freedom

She observes many things

.

She for one

Sees past the iron bars of the cage

To the beauty within

.

So pretty…

Her thoughts lead to infatuation

And that infatuation leads her

On a desperate search

To find the key to the cage

.

But once it is found

And the beauty is released from its irons

It is led straight into the cage

Of her who desired it

    1. It’s about seeing something owned by someone else and thinking that they don’t deserve it, that it deserves to be “freed” from them. But in that process of trying to free it, feeling the same way the person who you were trying to free it from did and repeating the cycle.
