Frozen Castle

Around her

The air is frozen

Sticking to buildings

Of seeming glass


She sits alone

In her city

Of the unliving

Made of frozen tears


I want to help

But she tells me

To go away to leave

Air sticking in her throat


I watch

Through the

Opaque stilled water

Face stuck to ice

With moisture


I watch

As her ice


To crack


Around the wall

Of her cold world




I watch

As unfrozen tears

Stream out

Of her hot eyes


But then

They freeze

Sharp and cold

The tears freeze

As her body

Her castle of ice


Into a
