The Red Riding Hood Who Never

Walking on the path

Far away from life

Lights dim

Showing the way

That shadows embrace

On the path

Tiptoeing

Afraid

Of the forest surrounding

Looking, seeing

A call

Then nothing

Seeing a shape

In the shadowing

Running through the moonless

Dim light

A howl

Afraid

Turning

Looking to see

A lone shape

~Running down the path

Useless

The sky pales

On an empty path

With tracks

To tell the tale

Of

A red cape

Left hanging

On a far off tree

.
