White Walls

White walls

Calm

Is descended

White mist

All around

Now sky, no blue

I don’t know

All I see

Is white

I know nothing

I care for nothing

Except the white

Soft caressing

White

On the wall

Of my mind

White pictures

Are painted

On blank canvas

Single tone

In my room

A crack

Black-dark

In the wall

Eye looking through

I see

Something else

What is it

I look

And see

Deep

Into something

Not white

Many shades

Hurts the eye

Mist descends

And all I see

Is the soothing white

But now

A wait

A hunger

For something more

Then the endless thing

I now call white

Hitting

The stone

The white walls

Trying to break them

To get a crack

Again

To see

To leave

Pure innocence

Lost
