Resentment

I dug myself

Into a rut

Dirt

Hard-packed on both sides

I struggled

A bit

.

Angry

I shook my fists

At the wall

At the world

Fingers telling them

I was not afraid

I was angry

.

After a while

I sat down

Smoothing out the dirt

Making it nice and soft

I put down

Blankets and couches

I ordered a pizza

Nice and comfortable like

.

I still shake my hand

Now and then

Stewing and spiting

That the world

That put me in a rut

And I’m not gonna move

Until the rut

Pushes me up

And the world is fair again
