The Rain Sonnet

Shall I wish for the fin to slosh of rain
The drip, the drop of gobs of water rife
Blue clear windows running the pipe of vane
Cleaning dirty grey statue’s white of life
Brown hails, puddles never taste sweet to me
Pushing the car, oil mixed road’s within
Danger, collision feared hits surely
As metal grinds, the heart pushing chest tin
But real, the life of forest glen of green
Is dripping not oil, but water of gleam
So diamond shine rainbow of color sheen
Wish life was like the water of ‘nother dream
But oh this dream of fantasy to be
The place the earth is love as eco as green
