Him & I

In between
The fine lines
It lurks
A mirror
Reflecting back
Pieces of him
 .
The things that annoy me
The things
That annoy him
Are all the things
Caught in the reflection
Rubbed with silver shine
 .
But
Not everyone
Can stand themselves
And reflections
Aren’t always known
As what they
Truly are
 .
He sees me
Doing things
He regretted later
And I agonize over
Flaws
That I
Also posses
 .
It is fine
To criticize
Or blame another
But when
The mirror
Is reversed
And the face
The hidden reflection
Is revealed
How can I
Stay
With what I said
About the one
Holding the mirror of me
 .
