A Paper Girl

Every girl
A paper
Starting out
A pure
Printer ready
It’s simple really
As her life
Moves on
Writing her life
With the paper
Having blotted spots
Of tears
Of dropped
Peanut butter
The paper
Is always flat
It has a ripple
Her social relationships
She builds
It up again
And it is
Constantly put back
And pulled up
In ways
That make sure
The paper will never
Become flat again
But even though
The girl
The paper
Can never be
Printer paper
She can
Become something more
Of words copied
From others
She has words
Written in
On her
Uniquely shaped paper
That will
Never be the same
