Reading A Music Box

I started out
Trying to turn
A gold knob
The opposite direction
Tugging and pulling
It would never work
With its film of my fingers
And then
I turned the tide
A soaring of sound
And emotion
Rose red in color
I learned
Turning it
The right way
For the first time
Finding the
Golden sheen in the knob
My music
Begins to play
My eyes
In lighted joy
Showing that single rose red
Turning out
Into full thrown vibrant song
In a way
I never thought I could before
But now I can
The music pours sonorous
In huge quantities
All called amazing
But just now
As they fill my head up
With words of praise
It deflates
As others look at me
I have much to learn
